Empowering Hands-On Learners

At Friends of Guirgho we understand that not every child thrives in a traditional academic setting. Some shine brightest through practical, hands-on learning.

While we work toward establishing a formal vocational training center, we’ve already begun laying the groundwork by training local adults in carpentry and metalworking.

With access to power tools and guidance, community members have started building picnic tables and repairing classroom desks. These skills will soon allow for the fabrication of essential school furniture right in the village workshop.

Beyond supporting the school, these items can also be sold to generate income for future educational needs, creating a sustainable cycle of learning, skill-building, and community investment.
